Welp, this week was a great week to end our stay at the MTC!! This email going to be a little different than normal so here we go.
First of all, last night at our Sunday Devotional, we had a devotional like the MTC has never seen before. You'll never guess who came!..... Richard Elliott.... and... (wait for it)....... David Archuleta. I kid you not! David had literally just come home from his mission this past week and his homecoming was earlier that day. He came and sang for us! Richard Elliott played a few organ pieces before David joined him in singing. It was seriously one of the coolest experiences in my life! I wasn't a huge fan of either of them before but now! I am! Ah, it was so cool. We made history today. Great last Sunday in the good ol' MTC. Vanessa, I hope you're jealous!
In other news, we finished teaching both Thorsten and David this week. Afterwards, we were talking to our teachers, and they told us that neither of them actually got baptized in real life. Ah, it broke our little hearts because we love them so much. I can't imagine how we're going to feel when these people are actually real and don't accept the gospel. We'll get to that in a few days ;)
We hosted new missionaries this Wednesday. We actually helped international missionaries who have been here for a day or so move from their temporary residence to their real residence and then to their first class. Because of that, I wasn't able to host curb-side, but it was still so fun! I met one of my instagram friends, Emily Miller, who is going to Berlin!! She's so great. I love people.
In regards to our zone, "all is well that ends well" (or so it seems). We're all headed out together tomorrow morning. Things are going so much better. Thank you so much for all your prayers and thoughts, we definitely needed them. They really made a difference.
Lest you forget, Josh has been a missionary for 9 months now. FLOORED.
6 weeks of my mission have already gone, and our time here in the empty sea has come to a close. This place has truly changed me. To the core. My heart is breaking even thinking about leaving some of my best friends. I didn't think you could love someone so much in so little time. I love my Sister Blackhurst, my Sister Jefferies, and my Sister Bell mit ganzem Herz. I didn't think I'd ever say it, but I don't want to leave. Oh, but Deutschland awaits. I truly cannot express to you how grateful I am to have this gospel, the love of my God and my Savior, temple covenants, the Plan of Salvation... How obvious it is to me that God loves us with perfect love. Being a missionary is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Everyone must go on a mission.
Tomorrow we're flying to Germany. Tomorrow. TOMORROW! This is the WILDEST thing I have EVER done! I seriously can't wait to tell you all about the best place in the world.
Stay tuned,
Sister (bia) Seamons
