As you would have already guessed, Martin was BAPTIZED!!!!! That makes
baptism number 2 on my mission (I won't take any credit for this guy though, but
he was technically "my investigator"). The whole thing was actually pretty
crazy, because up until Friday, we were planning on the baptism happening on
Sunday. Right before he was to have his interview, he mentioned to us that he
wanted to be baptized on Saturday so he could get the Holy Ghost the next
day. So Saturday translated to... the next day. We pulled some strings and got
someone to give a talk in English and asked Elder Hays to baptize him and BAM!
He went down in the water and came out a new man. After he got the Holy Ghost,
he walked back to his seat with his hand on his heart and a huge, content smile
on his face. It was an honor to be a part of.
Sorry I don't have much more to say this week. Here's a bunch of
