The Proposal (week 51)

If you tried to guess what kind of adventures we had this week, I'd bet in a million years you would never guess what I'm just about to say.

One of our investigators, in all seriousness and perhaps desperation, proposed fake marriage to either one of us, whoever would comply.

I can't explain all of the details now (you'll have to ask me after my mission or something) but it sufficeth me to say that fake marriage seemed to be the only solution to his problems and therefore came to us, two American girls trying to help him out, convinced there was a possibility that one of us would agree.

Needless to say, we quickly got out of that one.

This week our teaching pool of investigators went from 3 to 1. Our other investigator, whom we 'tschüß'ed this week, is actually a couple from the Bahai religion (which I had never before heard of until these two) and we came to the conclusion this week that they don't actually want to apply what we teach, they're more interested in having spiritual discussions and stuff. So we're not going to be putting forth more effort to meet with them anymore.

Our other investigator has been investigating the church for 20 years, reads all of the church books, including all of the manuals from the prophets, the Liahona, Doctrine and Covenants, everything.

Not much else for this week... BUT tonight we're heading back to Berlin AGAIN for zone training meeting and I'm pretty stoked. If you asked me where I would want to live in all the world, I'd tell you Berlin. Berlin Berlin Berlin!

Love you all! Enjoy the nice weather in Utah—pretty sure you're sucking all of the warmth out of Germany. It's cold.

A day in Heringsdorf (look how long my hair has gotten!)

Here's our faces blocking a pretty cool sunset
waiting for the train.
